Does artificial turf get hot?
Yes. In direct Arizona sun, turf can get hotter than concrete. Shade, a quick hose rinse, lighter blade colors and cooling infill all help. We'll recommend what fits your yard and how you use it.
Is artificial turf safe under a playset?
It can be, with the right shock pad. Fall protection is rated by ASTM F1292 critical fall height, so the pad has to match how high your equipment is.
